Brand new training initiative hits recruitment sector

Posted: Mon 19 Oct 2009

In a market where return on investment is key, training and performance development specialist Lander Associates is taking part in a new and innovative training partnership “competition” formulated by niche performance recruiter ChapmanBlack.

After a rigorous selection process, Lander Associates was chosen as one of two possible training partners for the organisation and has begun delivering training to a number of Chapman Black’s specialist consultants, with specific objectives and targets for increasing revenue.

Within this creative scheme, Lander will be given a division to train for a basic fixed fee as well as a performance related payment linked to sales targets, providing a real measurement of the return on investment. After five months of this trial and a period of evaluation and assessment, ChapmanBlack will select one of the training providers to enter into a long term partnership.

“In this market it’s important to be an author of change, not a victim of it” says Fiona Lander, Managing Director of Lander Associates, “so it’s worth approaching training partnerships differently. We will be undertaking sales workshops, performance management sessions and using some brilliant performance enhancers too, such as Recruitment Juice and Saber. Healthy competition is great to inject some excitement into the business and we always relish a challenge. We’re feeling confident about the task ahead and I have complete belief in our team and what we are delivering.”
