Training and performance development specialist Lander Associates has re-launched its ‘Fast Track Induction’ (FTI) course, but ‘with a new twist’ for the gradually recovering market.
Lander’s induction courses have been on hold over the past year because of the downturn. However, demand for this training is now increasing as the market improves and a condensed and upgraded design of the ‘FTI’ has been re-launched. Instead of the standard three day programme for new starters, the course lasts just two days but still covers all of the basic competencies, as well as some current techniques for consultants to use in today’s market.
“With a big drop in the number of recruiters hiring over the past year, there just hasn’t been a need for induction training” explains Managing Director of Lander Associates, Fiona Lander, “but we’re getting a lot more demand again now as more businesses are hiring and we decided the time was right to re-launch our FTI. We have had a very good response, with places filling up quickly. The new induction course aims to show new recruits how to work successfully in a soft economy and what to expect in the different job landscape that we’re now experiencing. It’s great to see the market picking up and fantastic to be able to help our clients and potential future clients prepare for more positive times ahead.”
Lander’s ‘Fast Track Induction…with a Twist’ will take place in London on 29th and 30th September. For more information visit www.landerassociates.co.uk.
