Posted: Tue 17 Feb 2009

Lander Associates, international training and performance development specialists to the professional recruitment sector, is continuing to develop its overseas business portfolio by working with the top recruitment consultancy on the thriving island of Malta

With the online gaming industry booming in Malta due a more flexible tax and regulatory framework, i-gaming recruiter Pentasia has enlisted the expertise of Lander Associates to develop its team of consultants.

"Not only does Malta boast excellent weather but it's currently a really interesting place to be commercially!" says Fiona Lander, Managing Director of Lander Associates. "Our partner, Pentasia, is establishing one of its main European offices on the island and is now the biggest recruiter there. After working with Pentasia for threeyears, we're delighted to be involved in the expansion of their global business. We have worked on the island over the past two years and it is clear that Malta is really going places - we're very excited to be a part of that development and to be adding to our portfolio of European experience."

"Malta is one of the world's key iGaming jurisdictions and that, combined with the fact that it is beautiful location, means that the island is an ideal place for us to site one of our main offices" adds Rob Dowling, CEO of Pentasia. "Working in partnership with Lander Associates, we are developing and strengthening our teams in Malta and the rest of the world, so we’re very excited about the prospects for the future."
